狸 tanuki nozawa is a 4-floor complex renovated in 2017 and is located in the heart of Nozawa Onsen Village. Tanuki has 5 luxury apartments and a traditional guesthouse connected to the main building via a corridor. Tanuki also operates a teppanyaki restaurant, a sushi restaurant, a select shop, a cafe and a bar.

Nozawa onsen’s most famous onsen, Oyu is just outside the building, and there are many restaurants, cafés and bars in the surrounding area. It is also easy to access all the other 13 hot springs on foot.
